CSA Day Details
Hello members,
You’ll be receiving this email whether you R.S.V.P’d or not. If you have, please disregard.
Thank you for R.S.V.P-ing to our farm day this Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’re expecting 30 people! Very excited.
FERRY: We recommend you take the 9:25 AM Ferry from Fauntleroy in West Seattle to Vashon. Plan to get to the ferry at least 30 minutes before. The complete ferry schedule is here.
LOCATION: Our farm is located at 24026 Wax Orchard Road, and is about a 20 minute drive from the ferry terminal.
RIDES: We have a few members who will be walking onto the ferry. If anyone has space in their car, and could take them to and from the terminal, please let me know via phone or email! I will connect you. My phone number is 314-728-3945.
DRESS: It’s fall in Western Washington, so it could rain. Please dress accordingly. Water-proof shoes are also recommended.
SCHEDULE:
10 - 11: Meet and greet.
11 - 12: Farm tour, presentation, and Q&A.
12 - 1: Cooking demonstration
1 - 2: Lunch harvest and lunch
