The round is led by Natural Capital—a new DeepTech fund founded by partners formerly of Social Capital—with participation from GV, In-Q-Tel, a $T-market cap hyperscaler, and other top strategics and venture funds.

Odyssey is the leading AI lab building general-purpose world models—an intelligence trained to generate continuous, interactive audio-visual simulations of the world that will unlock entirely new consumer, enterprise, robotics, and intelligence applications. The company has shipped five generations of world models to date, serving 610,000 simulations to users in 184 countries. Their flagship model Odyssey-2 Pro outperforms leading video and world models on benchmarks, particularly in physics-accuracy.
Odyssey recently launched the first world model API, giving developers three core endpoints—long-horizon simulations, interactive streams, and viewable streams—to build applications across robotics, gaming, autonomous driving, defense, education, healthcare, advertising, and more. Their upcoming model, Odyssey-3, is designed to be the first audio-visual intelligence: a more intelligent, naturally interactive model that can talk, teach, and communicate with users, targeting a step-function expansion in addressable markets. A world-leading gaming company is their first major enterprise partner.
The company is led by self-driving car pioneers Oliver Cameron (Co-Founder & CEO, former VP Product at Cruise and founder of Voyage, acquired by Cruise; YC alum) and Jeff Hawke (Co-Founder & CTO, founding researcher and VP at Wayve, Oxford AI PhD). Oliver and Jeff have built a world-class research team with significant experience from DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, Wayve, and Cruise. Their team has made large contributions to language models (DeepMind Gemini), video models (DeepMind Veo), world models (Wayve GAIA), and autonomous systems (Tesla FSD).
This financing round is being led with $125M from Natural Capital, a new DeepTech fund founded by ex-Social Capital GPs. Existing investors, including GV and Elad Gil, are doubling down on the company via participation in this round. In-Q-Tel, a $T-market cap hyperscaler, and other top strategics and venture funds are committed, and the company is in conversations with several other large strategics about joining the round as well.
