Thrivable Scotland podcast launches with strength-based approach!

First episode of podcast explores successful strength-based approaches in housing, plus announcing our next netwalk event.

It’s taken longer than I’d hoped, but the podcast is finally launched – with exactly the sort of story I hoped for when I set out to explore “what’s working” in the polycrisis, and to understand why.

We open with a cracking interview with Anthony Morrow about his success in applying strength-based approaches in the housing sector – transforming lives by reducing evictions and avoiding homelessness.

We also talk about why a stable home is a crucial aspect of sustainability - in multiple ways.

Towards the end of episode Ruchir Shah and Morag Watson joined me to reflect on the interview and draw out insights and lessons that can be applied in other sectors to help people and the rest of nature to thrive.

To listen to Focus on what’s strong, not what’s wrong, and the trailer for background about why I’m making this podcast, open Thrivable Scotland in your podcast player.

I’d love to hear what you think!

If you’d like to chat with other people about this ideas discussed in the podcast – and any other aspect of working for a world where people and nature can thrive, join me on our first evening netwalk of the year:

Netwalking for Changemakers, Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, Thu, 28 May, 5:30pm - 7pm.
