This Week in Raycast — July 13 – July 19, 2026
A dozen new extensions this week — clipboard and media utilities up front, plus remote control for your car alarm and thermostat.
Productivity
Hack Club CDN — by @garyhtou
Upload images and files to the Hack Club CDN without leaving Raycast, and get a shareable URL back. Requires a Hack Club CDN API key.
Research Sync — by @shearmds
Save the frontmost browser tab and read your saved articles from Raycast. Your list stays in sync with the Research Sync apps on iOS, macOS, and the browser; article text is captured at save time and end-to-end encrypted, so you can read the full piece offline even when the URL would later show a subscriber prompt.
Picmal — by @albertogalca
Convert and compress images, audio, and video from Raycast. A companion to the Picmal macOS app, it shells out to the app's bundled CLI (FFmpeg, ImageMagick, sips) to convert or compress the Finder selection — with optional presets — and writes output alongside each input, reporting the size savings. Requires the Picmal app.
WebGlossary Search — by @apatki1996
Look up web-development terms from WebGlossary.info directly from Raycast. Type a term and it opens the matching definition page, or falls back to a full-text site search; the slug normalization it does under the hood handles multi-word terms a Quicklink couldn't.
Area Code Search — by @mjking
Search US area codes by code, city, or state, using bundled data with no API key or account. See which cities share an area code, their timezone and current local time, and copy the result in one action.
Updates to existing productivity extensions:
- Zotero: a series of fixes to prevent out-of-memory crashes and make Search Zotero concurrency-safe on large libraries.
- Jira Search (Self-Hosted): search issues directly by number, and stale search responses are now ignored so results stop flickering as you type.
- WinGet: fix empty lists on non-English Windows installs and resolve a class of upgrade failures.
- Todoist: fix a menu-bar command out-of-memory crash.
- Brave: fix a history-search database lock error.
Worth a Look
RedactCast — by @TheMax98000
Masks PII — emails, IPs, internal project names — in your clipboard before you paste it somewhere, then restores the original values on demand. The mapping table stays in Raycast's local sandbox, and the unredacted data never leaves your Mac.
Starline — by @sfominx
Control StarLine car security and telematics devices through the official StarLine Open API: arm/disarm, start/stop the engine, sound the horn, and read live state, sensors, telemetry, and position. Destructive actions require a confirmation.
Thermostats — by @humanfriend22
Adjust and monitor connected thermostats from Raycast, controlling devices across various providers through the Seam API.
The Lot Radio — by @evnm
A single command to play/pause the live stream from The Lot Radio, the Brooklyn-based independent internet radio station, via a backgrounded QuickTime session.
Wrappers for Other Services
Desk.ly — by @skrollme
desk.ly is a desk-sharing and hot-desk booking platform; this extension lets you add bookings, view your upcoming reservations, and find which colleagues are already in the office — all from Raycast.
Workflowy — by @rodolfo-terriquez
A Raycast client for WorkFlowy, the outliner and note-taking app built around infinitely nested bullet lists. Search from a local cache, quick-capture into a default destination, browse locations and tags, and complete tasks without opening the app.
Granite — by @Shpigford
Built for people who keep their documents in Granite, a document vault for storing and searching your own files. The extension brings the vault into Raycast with ranked search and full-document browsing (a natural-language Ask Vault command is available with Raycast Pro); it's a read-only client and uploads nothing.
Updates:
- Twos: rebuilt on Twos's public API, adding Search Things and Create List commands. Twos is a notes, lists, and reminders app.
- Tally: paginate submissions so every response loads. Tally is a form builder.
- Pipedrive: add a Copy Deal Email action for deals. Pipedrive is a sales CRM.
