Hello,
As this year comes to a close, and with a lot of snow on the ground and time inside, I have been reflecting on everything we’ve built together in what was, truthfully, only half a year of real momentum. Thistle & Thread Press found its way into the world mid-year — not the clean slate most presses wait for, but a moment we stepped into anyway. What’s unfolded since then has been entirely shaped by you — the threads of our community.
Whether you submitted your work, engaged with our weekly features, shared encouragement, or simply remained connected from afar, your presence has helped form the foundation of this press. Community is one of the pillars we have built upon, and in your support, well, that support isn’t just meaningful — it’s defining. Thank you for being here.
With that, I’m excited to share our final announcement of the year: pre-orders are now open for our 2026 Reflective Journal & Daily Planner.
Planner Pre-Orders Are Now Open
This first edition was designed around clarity and creative momentum — a minimalist daily layout, cream interior pages, and a reflective question or fragment prompt on each spread. A planner meant to hold space, not noise.
All pre-orders are printed and shipped directly through our distributor. During the holiday and early-January rush, delays may occur, and I will keep communication clear if anything shifts.
Launch Timeline
- Pre-Orders: Open now
- Soft Launch: January 2
- Full Launch: January 7
We understand that for a dated planner and journal, a launch in the first week of the new year isn't ideal. This timeline reflects our commitment to ensuring the quality of the final product, and we appreciate your patience as we bring this first edition into the world with the care it deserves.
Looking Ahead to 2026
This year was about laying the groundwork — establishing systems, refining editorial workflows, and shaping our weekly features into something cohesive and sustainable. In 2026, we’ll be expanding those efforts with new titles, open calls, more resources for writers, and a more structured release rhythm. We have a lot planned for the future, and we hope you continue to be a part of it.
Your presence and participation continue to guide what Thistle & Thread becomes.
Thank you for the work you’ve shared and the trust you’ve placed in this space. Here’s to a new year, new pages, and the work we’ll create together.
With care,
Tyler Tittle
