Radiate Coffee Turns Camas into a Destination, One Cinnamon Roll at a Time
If you haven't made your way to Radiate Coffee in Camas yet, consider this your nudge. The neighborhood coffee shop has quietly become a beloved gathering place β and not just for the house-made cinnamon rolls and New Zealand-style fruit ice cream (though those certainly help). Radiate has built a reputation as a warm, inclusive community hub where all abilities are welcomed and celebrated. It's the kind of place that makes you proud to live in Clark County. Full story from The Columbian.
Bella Burlile's Second-Half Strike Puts Prairie Atop 3A League
Prairie girls soccer now owns the top spot in the 3A Greater St. Helens League standings after Bella Burlile's clutch second-half goal sealed a 1-0 win over Kelso on Tuesday night. It was exactly the kind of gritty, low-scoring battle that makes fall prep soccer worth watching. The Falcons have been building momentum all season, and this result puts them in the driver's seat heading into the second half of league play. Read the recap at The Columbian.
Tuesday's Full High School Scoreboard: Volleyball, Golf, Cross Country, More
It was a packed Tuesday across Clark County fields and courses, with results rolling in from volleyball, girls soccer, cross country, boys golf, and slowpitch softball. If your kid (or your neighbor's kid) played last night, the full scoreboard has every result in one place β no scrolling through five different Facebook threads required. Check the complete results at The Columbian.
Razor Clam Season Postponed Statewide β Toxin Levels Too High
Had your eye on that October 9 razor clam opener on Washington's coastal beaches? You'll need to hold off. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has postponed the recreational season until further notice after a spike in marine toxins was detected on four beaches that were set to open. No new date has been announced yet, so keep an eye on WDFW updates before making any trip plans. Details from The Columbian.
