#GiveInMay to Support Our Newsroom Intern

We're raising $2,100 to support the next generation of hard-hitting Asian journalists

Dear Reader,

Although the Trump Administration eliminated federal recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, observed since 1991, we will never stop recognizing the community we belong to and serve.

This summer, we are hosting a newsroom intern for the first time, in partnership with the CUNY Newmark J-Corps. We are aiming to raise $2,100 to partially cover the intern’s salary. To do so, we are joining Give In May, a national giving campaign, and locking arms with AANHPI nonprofits across the country.

If everyone who received this email gave $4, we would meet our goal!
