Today carries the best snow signal in the window — a low chance, but the strongest on offer.

Forecast guidance puts a low chance of snow on the hills — around 17%, with some runs nudging toward 22% — and a small chance it reaches the plains. That is still firmly the minority outcome, but it has been firming across the last several runs, so it is worth keeping half an eye on if you have work in the high country today. From Sunday onward, a cluster of low-chance days runs through the back half of the fortnight — Sunday, next Tuesday, next Thursday, next Friday, and next Saturday all carry watch flags. None of them are strong signals; chances sit in the single digits to low teens across all of those days. What is notable is the persistence of the pattern rather than any one standout day.
