💻 The Valuable Dev - Understanding the Imposter Syndrome
Wednesday Greetings, Valuable Developer!
I hope the beginning of 2021 was a fresh start allowing you to move closer toward your goals. Despite everything happening in the world right now, 2021 is definitely better for me than was the end of 2020.
Speaking of which, I’ve decided to write an article about the imposter syndrome after reading many studies about it.
Understanding the Imposter Syndrome
What’s New This Month?
- Hillel Wayne wrote a series of articles trying to answer this question: are we really engineers? He took some time to interview engineers from other fields who became developers; I found the result very interesting.
- I’m trying more and more to give away some valuable thoughts on Twitter. Here are some thoughts on communication, debates, and refactoring, for example.
- I’m watching a lot of talk related to software development, and I try to share one of my favorite every Sunday on Twitter. Here’s the one I’ve shared recently: Engineering You by Martin Thompson.
- I really liked this short article from Derek Sivers: Obvious to you. Amazing to others..
