#032 - Dying of the Light (2014)

Hello and welcome to my weblog. Tonight I watched Dying of the Light (2014).

Shortly before this film was released, Paul Schrader, the screenwriter slash director posted on Facebook that the movie had been taken away from him in post-production and that it had been re-edited behind his back. He posted photos of himself, Nicholas Cage, costar Anton Yelchin, and one of the executive producers in t-shirts with the language of their non-disparagement clauses printed on them. I think the image of Nicholas Cage frowning and pulling back the lapels of a baby blue suede motorcycle jacket to reveal a t-shirt that says he can’t legally tell us what he thinks of the movie is all the review you need.
