Morning and Evening: Editor's Note
If last week’s installment of Talia’s novella seemed somewhat disjointed, or even post-modern, this was an unintended consequence of an editorial snafu on my part, in which I mistakenly reposted a section that we’d previously published. It is no secret that among the traditional drawbacks of serialized fiction are excessive repetition, and tangled plotlines, but I fear that last week’s installment took this problem to a new level. (In fact, mistakes were a rather common hazard in serialized publishing, with compositors on the hook for any errors made on their watch.)
My penalty is as yet undetermined, so for now I ask you to please disregard last Sunday’s email, to forgive my oversight, and to look out for tomorrow’s post and see how Yossel’s story continues.
