"I reject your reality, and substitute my own." - Calvin
We all walk around creating what we consider real all the time, according to our own perceptions and thoughts inside our noggins in the moment. Isn't that weird?
Sloth and (Moon)atee, speaking of surprising realities:
Last time, we learned there's this octopus, who is the bloop master, even though we don't know what a bloop is or how one masters it. We do know it's somewhere near the Moon.
Well it turns out the bloop is inter-dimensional, whatever that means. And this kindly octopus is in charge of it. Isn't that nice? What a nice fellow.
When Realities Collide
Basically all our realities collide all the time. This is called, "dealing with each other."
And then there's the stuff inside us, our inner dialogue. This is, "dealing with ourselves." Or, "containing multitudes."
And amongst all this are endless opportunities to see and hear each other, and to appreciate one another's point of view:
Making an animation every day gives one a perspective on one’s own reality, though it consists of making stuff and the under-brain doesn’t always reveal what it is on about, here are some examples:
How a snake skateboards:
These silly things get put up on my instagram.
Here is a device you can use to control reality in case you need to. It's got buttons. Maybe they alter the weather. You can make it up.
Here's another one, with sliders:
I have one or two copies of the Brainwaves book in hand that I can send direct to people. More are on the way, but they've gotta get printed. Of course in a pinch you can also get em from Bookshop.org. Or that Amazon machine. 400-plus smiles for you or someone you like!
There are so many people who love sloths, and love manatees, and love both. It never ceases to amaze me how many people write me about this! They are good friends. And something sweet to read for someone you like. They are in the book shop also. I have somewhat more copies of those fellows.
And, definitely get a copy of this weird little picture book for grownups by me and my friend Mike, I promise it is weird. It's also signed and numbered. That's Hitch the dog showing how cool and lovely he/it are.
This just in!! We got a few advance copies of the Bicycle Sentences book. The rest of em are on a boat somewhere, but these few look groovy! Here's a sneak peek, never before seen, super secret look:
Okay! That's enough nonsense for now.
May your reality contain multitudes, may you discover a lovely and surprising point of view, won't you be my neighbor?
