Things Of The Week
Gosh, times feel tough. However, all growth and progress happens at the level at which life is lived, which is one day at a time and at person-scale. Which means, community. There are very good thinkers out there about how to connect with people, but here are a few of my favorites: When Strangers Meet by my friend Kio Stark, and We Should Get Together by Kat Vellos, and the classic The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker.
I got this game called Thank Goodness You’re Here! Which they call a “slapformer” instead of platformer ‘cause you just go around slapping stuff and what-have-you and it’s super silly and I’m enjoying it. It’s so dumb.
Also I really like this fellow Michael McGrath’s art.
