A door is a portal
"Wherever we go, we are friends" -Sloth and Manatee

PEACE.
Peace is difficult. It's something that has to be created and maintained, and it's really hard. May we choose to do the hard thing someday, all of us, together.
Okay...
Sloth and (Moon)atee
So it's an interdimensional bloop, is it?
Well, here comes a creature. And here's Octopus to help em along. Out one door, in another. Going where? Who knows? Wherever/whenever a spotted cat fellow goes.
Where we are going, where we have been
Doors are such a transition image. They're not only between spaces, they are the act of moving from one space to another. Or leaving. Or arriving. Or expressing yourself.
This whole idea of inner and outer sure does get complicated, doesn't it.
Like when we put on headphones, which makes this inner world, but other people can't hear it
Unless we share it with them
With this project of making an animation every day in December up to the Solstice, the animation style has emerged and it is: silly. That's it. That has been the finding of this exercise.
There's a video of all 21 of them together, accompanied by the fabulous Trimmo, on my Instagram and on YouTube.
More Brainwaves books are on the way, of course you can get em from Bookshop.org. Or that Amazon machine. 400-plus smiles for you or someone you like!
Before the interdimensional bloop and the penguin with a jet pack, Sloth and Manatee also cruised around on Earth and under the Ocean.
The Bicycle Sentences books are loaded on pallets and should get here in the next couple weeks. We went round and round with what to put on the back - blurb, quote, wisdom - and decided, you know, it says quite enough as it is. So we left it as it is.
Okay! That's enough nonsense for now.
May you open a door to somewhere interesting, may you discover that you were already somewhere interesting after all, won't you be my neighbor?
-Betsy
