The Real Adam, "they have seasons here" edition
Settling into Portland, hot takes on books, meetings, and web browsers. And, of course, writing about writing.
We are, despite myriad curveballs, finally getting situated at our house in Portland, Oregon. 😅 Did you know, in places outside of Texas, it gets cooler, starts to rain more, the leaves on the trees change colors, the whole thing!, in the “fall”? I had to see it to believe it.
I published the following tasty bits this month:
The people have spoken, and the enticement to throw more books was a clear popular favorite. If it weren’t currently in a box, I would go (retroactively) throw my copy of The Black Swan right now!
My personal favorite was six one-liners on meetings. I like ‘em short and punchy.
Web browsers are amazing technology. Amazing technology deserves hot-takes. Ergo, hot-takes on web browsers.
I can’t help myself with the meta-posts on writing and thinking: pen, paper, and a problem, every day counts (even edits).
Thanks again for reading!
