As I parked on the street near one of Hyattsvile’s food forests, yellow and brown leaves fell all over my car, pushed by the wind. As the gusts died down, I heard the motorized rumble before I saw it, a man in a high-viz vest standing on a large industrial-scale lawn mower, turning in a tight circle before driving away from my view again.
