A deserter has been blackmailed into taking a job in the Noble Lands, an enormous pit that houses the nobility and royalty of the witch-kingdom of Zaedoreth. His orders are to deliver the head of a recently executed prisoner to the queen... but when he arrives, he finds that his target is unfortunately very much alive.
