  • Fairfax County greenlights 20 mph pilot. The Board of Supervisors voted 10-0 to drop speed limits from 25 to 20 mph on select roads, using authority delegated by the General Assembly in 2024.   • Bus driver in deadly I-95 crash appears in Stafford court. The driver charged in the I-95 wreck that killed five made his court appearance, with his attorney telling reporters he is remorseful. The case is drawing attention well beyond the region. Stafford court appearance.

  • Tatte opens at One Loudoun. The Boston-born bakery-cafe drew big crowds Wednesday for its Ashburn debut, the latest national brand to land at the lifestyle center. Tatte opens in Ashburn.
