Sep 20, 2026
Hello Norwood!
The school buses are back on the streets, the leaves are starting to turn, and Central Street will soon be open to vehicle traffic. It's fall in Norwood.
And in Norwood, there's a lot more going on, from the school committee's unanimous vote to approve a relaxation area for Norwood's beloved comfort dog, Mustang Sally 🐶, to the Conservation Commission's discussions about Pezwick Park and Guild Pond 🌳.
Meanwhile, the Zoning Board of Appeals made waves by denying an appeal for a commercial kennel in a commercial district, but in a residential home.
In addition, residents are gearing up for the Republican Candidates visit on September 22nd 👥.
In this issue of The Record, you'll also find stories about blood drives, and a few blasts from the past. So grab a warm cup of coffee or tea, settle in, and let's dive into the latest news from our corner of the world!
