The Record Weekly: Happy Easter, Norwood. No Kings β€” Go Vote!

The Record Weekly

Apr 5, 2026

Welcome to this week's edition of The Record! πŸ“° Happy Easter 🐰!

Don't forget to cast your ballot!πŸ—³οΈ We will be posting live coverage as soon as the polls close, so be sure to follow us for updates.

It's been a busy week - hundreds gathered for the Norwood "No Kings" protest, the Selectmen candidates met again on NCM, and the Norwood Fire Department made its case for the coming override.

And in education, the School Committee approved a new budget and several outgoing members gave their farewells to the Town πŸ’”.

While the Norwood Fire Department has been working on its finances and staffing, it's also been working on the ice and its sticking. The Wood Cup is returning, and the department will be facing off against Westwood next week. Hopefully it will raise a ton of funds for the Pan Mass Challenge in the summer πŸ†.

Thanks for reading. Here’s what we published this week.
