Subscriber As 2018 draws near, we're looking to expand our team again. Interested in politics, current affairs, global disparity, the fight against the mainstream media? Interested in editing? Also, with 2018 in our headlights, it's more important than ever that we continue to build a new media - a media that is pluralistic; that challenges, rather than reinforces oppression and that holds decision makers to account. 

We all know the role that the media plays in shaping politics - whether it be through scapegoating migrants, allowing corporate and state actors to evade blame for decisions that exacerbate inequality and hasten the onset of climate change, or whipping up Islamophobia. 

That's why we're hosting our third Progressive Media Conference - War of Words on February 10th 2018. A one-day event packed full of talks, workshops and discussions on how we can shape the future of the media in Britain and across the world. 

We have just 2 weeks left to fund the conference. As little as £5 could really make all the difference in making sure the event goes ahead and is as big and as bold as it can be! You can find a breakdown of where your money will go on our crowdfunder. Please consider donating to support us. 

The event will take place in Norwich yet again, on 10th February 2018, in the Student Union of UEA. We are still at the planning stage for several key features of the event, but we are asking for any contribution towards our fundraising efforts, to ensure the best free delivery of one of our crowning achievements as a publication.
