War of Words 2019 is almost here!

Subscriber The wait is finally over. This Saturday - 30 March 2019 - we're bringing War of Words, The Progressive Media Conference to Norwich for the fourth year.

If you have yet to register for a FREE ticket, you can do directly on our Facebook event here or on the Eventbrite page here.

Where: Union House, University of East Anglia. If you haven't been to the campus before, Union House is right in the centre of campus. If you are catching the bus to the venue, get off at the first stop as it enters into the campus, and walk down the short hill to your right, past congregation hall, and you will find Union House. There will be signs around to help you get there!

When: War of Words will be kicking off from 9am, March 30th. Please come to the registration desk in the foyer of Union House to collect your programme and all the information you need for the day!

What: Throughout the day, there will be a range of panels, workshops and discussions on how we can build a progressive media future. Please see the programme below for a full list of sessions and timings.

Who: War of Words is hosted by The Norwich Radical. Throughout the day, speakers from a range of publications, organisations and campaigns will be contributing to the debate and discussion!

Why: With everything happening globally, and specifically the Brexit shambles and related media related we need a progressive media now more than ever. We need to build a media that challenges, rather than reinforce oppression; that holds corporate and political actors to account; that builds power among social movements and citizens.

In solidarity,
The Norwich Radical Editorial Team
