We know there is much going on in the international news cycle, not the least in the UK related horror-show that is the current lurch towards whatever shape Brexit may (or may not) take a month or so from now. But we're trying - this time - to focus on the positives where we can.

Specifically, we want to mention the incredible success of the fundraiser event that our editors Rowan Gavin and Ewa Giera coordinated, with the invaluable help of contributor Lewis Martin! We had some amazing performers (which you can see below) and audience, and plenty of donors to our War of Words event - meaning we are able to fully fund the conference for its fourth year running, a keep it entirely free to attendees!

And now... we are deep in the midst of planning. The fourth edition of the event will take place on 30th March 2019, once more in the UEA Student Union Building, in Norwich.
