Closer and closer

This month brings those of us in the UK ever-closer to whatever will happen with the distasterclass that is Brexit, in all its tentative forms. Nothing is clear yet, and probably won't be until the bitter end - but we resist, we persist, and repeat.
This coming week is also significant worldwide for 2019's International Working Women's Day. Yes, working women. As Robyn Banks so eloquently put it back in 2015: "There’s a long history of trying to erase class struggle from feminism, and ignoring the working in International Working Women’s day is one way to do this." You can read the rest of her article here.
This year we feel as though a reminder of how class struggles, gender rights - including the relentless fight of the Trans* community, along with the entire LGBTQIA* spectrum - intersect and overlap might be in order, so as to not lose sight of how much together we all are in this. And how much more together we need to be.

In other news, we are still working hard to bring you this year's War of Words conference, of course! The fourth edition of the event will take place on 30th March 2019, once more in the UEA Student Union Building, in Norwich.
To register for a free ticket, head to our Facebook event page, or directly on Eventbrite. Hope to see you at the end of this month, in whatever shape this country will be on the morning after.
In solidarity,
The Norwich Radical Editorial Team
