Revolution Is for Lovers ππ₯
A Queer State of the Nation: Love in the Time of FascismΒ
Greetings to my queer comrades across the nation and around the world. May Peace and Love embrace you now and forevermore.Β
First and foremost, from my heart yours, know that you are never alone. The powers that be: the cruel, insipid propaganda of this rugged individualist monstrosity of a society insists over and over that we must trudge the unknown road ahead alone. Lies! We will trudge the road of happy destiny in solidarity and community, leaving no comrade behind. Β
This is simply not a matter of digital discourse. Now is when the rubber meets the road. We must agitate for change. How we do this will differ from place to place, indeed, we do not all have the luxury of living in a bastion such as NY. Some of the praxis we can do isβ¦ Calling on comrades who we have not heard from in a while and holding space communally for our shared physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual anguish. Establishing robust mutual aid networks for the strategic sharing of labor and resources. Shining our hearts out like beacons into the world, radiating queer joy.Β
They want us to lose heartΒ
to say, oh what's the useβ
oh brother donβt even start
I wonβt tolerate this abuse!
So long as I draw breathβ
Death to the Man, death!
