Pride Looks Different This Year 🏳️‍⚧️

Header-Newsletter.png

It’s Always Pride at The Nonbinarian

Over the past year and a half we’ve been in business, countless visitors from all over the country & the world have sought out our bookstore because there’s “nothing like this” near them.

In that time, we’ve witnessed the beginnings of relationships, chosen families built, & community strengthen in numbers. To be that space for so many is a privilege and an honor to hold on behalf of every queer person who walks through our doors, one we do not carry lightly or take for granted.

It’s been a hard year, for all of us, in so many ways, and our bookstore has not been immune — economic downturns, targeted attacks, & personal losses. And the weight of the responsibility to every person who relies on community spaces like the one we’ve built feels more & more apparent every day.

One of the things we hear the most when people visit our store for the first time is “thank you for existing.” We are so grateful to every person who has come through our doors & shared their story with us. But if The Nonbinarian Bookstore is to survive under capitalism, we need folks to show us they want us to stick around by supporting us with their dollars.

Allies & comrades — this Pride Month & beyond, help us in the fight to keep queer hope alive & consider supporting The Nonbinarian Bookstore.

In solidarity,

The Nonbinarian volunteer collective
