Indie Bookstore Day is Here! 🎉📚

Header-Newsletter.png

Dear Bookstore, I remember the first time I ever visited you.

We’re glad you’re here! said the cute pup.

We’re glad you’re here! said all the books.

We’re glad you’re here! said the big cuddly chair.

I looked all around and I fit right in.

On my next visit, I brought a friend.

The bookseller gave us a big smile and a big book.

“Do you believe in magic?” my friend asked.

“Because I think this place is full of magic.”

And she was right!

Each time I visited, I saw how other people came in, too, full of their own wishes and dreams.

“Welcome!” the bookseller always said. “I’m so glad you’re here.”

Dear Bookstore, do you believe in magic?

I hope so!

You understand me in a way that only a book can.

But one day, my neighbor told me the scary news that lots of bookstores were closing.

It was hard to stay open, he said. People weren’t reading books anymore - they mostly just read screens.

Oh, no!

I flew down the street, and around the corner, and …

right through the doors.

We’re still here! said the cute pup.

We’re still here! said all the books.

We’re still here! said the big cuddly chair.

Thank goodness!

In this big crazy world, there is one place I can always count on for sure.

Bookstore, I’m so glad you’re here.
