As the year comes to a close and we reflect on what has passed and what’s to come, we’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge that The Nonbinarian initiative turned three this October and in November our brick-and-mortar bookstore celebrated one year in business!
We are so deeply grateful to you — our comrades in mutual aid, our customers and neighborhood regulars, our partners and collaborators, and our long distance supporters.
In a time where the world feels bleak, this little baby bookstore has come to be a small beacon of light to so many, and it is because of you — our community. We are all we have and y’all have proven that in how you’ve grown The Nonbinarian with us this past year.
Thank you, all, for your support in helping us keep a trans+ led, volunteer-powered, exclusively queer bookstore and community space alive. Let us continue to future-build and dream of a better world — together, in the new year.
