No. 135 Next AMA on Writing is Monday, Aug 31

No. 135 • 8/11/2026
Thanks to everyone who reached out to let me know how much they got out of the last AMA on Writing session. I take an intentionally loose, off-the-cuff approach to these sorts of things, and it's great to hear the intel was landing for you.
In case you missed it, here's some of the questions that got answered:
- Should I start publishing an in-progress idea to test it out?
- What are your thoughts on self-publishing vs. going through a publisher?
- At what point do you decide "I should write a book about this?"
- How do you review/manage a zettelkasten when it feels unwieldy and pulled in too many directions?
To which great conversation ensued. In light of this success....
The next AMA on Writing will take place on Monday, August 31 at 12pm NYC time.

Same rules apply:
- Email me your most pressing questions (or bring them to the session).
- I'll do my best to answer them.
- If I can't answer them, we'll see if someone in the Zoom room can answer them.
- If I can't answer them, and no one else can either, we'll collectively find a resource for you to get help on the issue.
Easy breezy.
