RTO round 2 is upon us, just as updates on the new Omicron variant made the news. Still, I am counting my blessings because we have a couple of holidays up! So that's fewer days to report to the office, at least.
With Omicron reportedly more contagious than Delta, (omygod??) looks like face shields, after being scrapped, are going to be back in rotation (ugh still the worst part of this entire pandemic theater), and with everybody out and about on weekends, who's going to say when the next surge is coming up? We've been out on a couple of occasions, mostly for quick meets with friends we haven't seen in a while, and yes we were a bit anxious at the crowds we saw. But who can blame these people, really? It's been two years.
Anyway--we're still thinking about how to get home to our parents this holiday season (both my siblings suggest on-the-spot antigen tests, BECAUSE APPARENTLY they have those lying around as office supplies, just like I have, I don't know, random load cards???)--but it really depends on how the cases look like closer to the date. The LAST THING I want to do is bring it home in some form from RTO.
Anyway, apart from the boring work stuff--this yearender season has me writing what, 3 to 4 stories every day just to get them all out before I take my gigantic December leave? HAHAHA the insanity--there's nothing much else going on APART FROM this TWICE burning trashbin that we're currently in. Sabi nga nila, whatever gets you through each day haha. We like it here so far.

In other news, my ARMY friends were spectacularly happy with BTS' first in-person concerts in LA! HUHUHUHU WE MISS GOING TO CONCERTS!!!

Wish I could say I read something nice this week but nah. Haha. We're entering a crucial, super hectic stretch of time that is kicked off, every year, by the Bonifacio day holiday. Hope we make the most of it this brief downtime before tumbling into the expected Christmas rush.
