So the COC filing circus has begun, and still no VP Leni. The only thing that’s keeping me sane right now is wisdom gathered from, of all things, drafting strategy in Mobile Legends: Some strategies involve letting opponents take first pick for the opportunity to react best.
At this point, I think expecting the Vice President to show her hand at any other time other than the final day of filing on Oct 8 is more for our personal benefit (kamusta mga blood pressure nyo mga kapatid haha) than the country’s–or her’s, for that matter. I understand it’s a big ask, and I definitely understand if she wants to enjoy til the end possibly her final few days as a non-presidential candidate who is yet to be in the cross-hairs of so much pressure and attacks lmao.
In any case, I also understand it is also her prerogative NOT to run for President. It’s an option and the woman owes me nothing. If she wants to participate in the 2022 elections AS A VOTER well–why not? Also her prerogative. In fact, I appreciate that she’s taking her time. Tbh, I expected nothing less.
I mean, wouldn’t you have wanted the same? If you had to make a life-altering decision? On which the lives of 100 Million Filipinos are hinged?
