Happy new year from the Couch!
"Recapping a thought-provoking 2025 on The Freudian Couch, excited for more rants and reflections in 2026!"
Hi there!
Dear readers,
I wish you a very happy new year.
2025 was a great year for The Freudian Couch. I wrote 15 posts in total. Most of these were book reviews. But, I also got back into the habit of writing old-school, blog-style personal rants, of which there were four. I love writing personal essays, since they allow me to be vulnerable.
I am very positive about 2026, and I intend to spend a lot of time provoking thought, poking fun at ourselves, and refusing to jump to easy conclusions. That's been the unstated goal of The Freudian Couch.
I am very grateful for your encouragement.
A list of my favorite posts from the year is below. Please feel free to reach out to me to tell me how I can do better, or how I should stop trying, at thefreudiancouch@gmail.com.
