The shorter version:
As usual Kevin put together
an amazing video.
The longer version:
San Francisco - ate all Chinese pastries. Finally got 8 hours of sleep (first time in 2020).
Yosemite - hiked 70ish miles and climbed up and down quite a bit. Ran into wildfire smoke and had to bail fast. A bit scary (the 911 operator hung up on us and told us we had grossly misused the service), but felt 100% like an adventure. Every day was tiring (at the end of this hike I felt pretty spent), but fulfilling. On the last day, scurried up a ridge and popped out above the entire park. Eight national parks in four years. Memories and magic. So much intensity and experience packed in there. I really meant what I wrote in that registry.
Stockton - the quickest stop at Nash and Tender. Downtown at night is absolute bonkers - after such a hike we were in the perfect state to take it in.
San Francisco - a Bladerunner vibe and ate breakfast dim sum and pineapple buns. Played around on exercise equipment at a park and saw someone try to do a dip while 10 milk jugs were hanging from his neck.
Misc:
Gaël is good (poor guy is restricted indoors because of the smoke). I'm off to hike again soon. Hope your world is well wherever it is? Cowabunga dude.
