It seems like quite a bit has happened this last 2 months. It's been really tricky to find a continuous couple minutes to sit down and write. So since there is too much to cover, how about this time we just go with the highlights?

* In May I ended up on an insane 3 day business trip to California. We left on Tuesday and were back by Friday, and managed to hit up San Francisco, LA and San Diego. I wanted to show my French colleagues "real" American food and almost shut down every artery in the process(traditional American breakfast, burrito, pizza, breakfast burrito, extra large pizza, panda express, USA USA USA). The best part was getting to swim in the ocean with my brother(we were trying to bodysurf, but most of the time just ended up jumping under the wave right before it broke).

 * There was crazy flooding. We got to see it up close which was a first for me and hopefully a last. 

* We went to the middle of the countryside to eat all you can eat "fouace" in ancient underground homes. We made it through 3 of the 5 courses before we had to tap out. If you are ever in the area, check it out and go on an empty stomach.

That's about it or at least what I can think of. Céline finished up her test today so that caps off a hellish year for her. Gaël has a super toothy grin now and loves to stand on his chair. I'm just trying to get as many walks as I can in this city before we're off again. Hope you all are well, would be happy to get some news,
