You are all invited to my birthday. (And Shelby's - mine is the 10th, hers is the 11th)

The details are as follows:

* Where: Mt Baker Wilderness Area near Artist Point
* Who: Adeventer
* Why: What better way to grapple with the unrelenting march of time than hiking/camping in the snow?

Anyone coming from out of town let me know and I'll figure out a way. Once we get general numbers, I'll try to figure out carpooling options.

Getting the home settled is a process. I'm grateful for the somewhat infinitely patient Shelby and the eager to help Gaël.

I'm somewhat amazed at the potential for this home. While I enjoyed the tornado-like aesthetic of bachelorhood, living in a space fit for adults/humans is...pleasant?

Certain things have tastefully disappeared (RIP broken electronics that I was going to fix someday) and others have artfully appeared (hello 3,500 line art prints of the feminine form). Progress and growth take many forms, but in this case they come in the form of a beautiful and willful redhead. The dinner parties will return (featuring: PLANTS).

Lastly the next one of these is going to be again offline. You know, good ol' snail mail.
