TONY SAYS:

So listen to this cazzo… Hot dogs. On the highway. Thousands of ‘em. In Pennsylvania, of all places. You wouldn’t believe the shit I hear sometimes. This ain’t even the crazy part, yet.

Seems some schmuck in a truck, a real genius, scrapes another car – probably some broad yakking on her cell phone, the usual – and boom, a whole load of hot dogs, like a goddamn sausage avalanche, spills all over I-83. Brings traffic to a standstill. Can you imagine the traffic? Worse than a Meadowlands traffic jam on a Sunday, I’m telling ya.

Four people needed a little medical attention. Nothing serious, thank God, just a few bumps and bruises. One of the firemen, some guy Dauberman – sounds like a real tough guy, huh? – says hot dogs are slippery. You don't say? I coulda told him that. I’ve seen more slippery things come out of a certain… ahem… establishment. You get my drift.

Then there’s this… flood, somewhere else, sweeps away an empty car, like a goddamn toy boat. This thing crashes into a bridge. I mean, the way things are going, I’m starting to think that these things are just – sigh - unpredictable. Like my moods, sometimes. One minute I’m all sunshine and lollipops, next minute I’m ready to… well, you know.

Then we got these wildfires, from California all the way to Canada. First responders are running around like chickens with their heads cut off – this reminds me of that time Paulie Walnuts tried to put out a grease fire with a fuckin' fire extinguisher – completely unnecessary, but I was too busy laughing. They were doing a number on the furniture.

And the former President, the orange one, was on some podcast with Michelle Obama and that Craig Robinson guy – the one from The Office. Fuckin’ bizarre, right? The current President – I don’t even bother keeping up with these clowns anymore. He says he tries not to think about it – probably about as much as I think about paying my taxes.

Floods in some other part of the country. People stuck in subways and cars. Sounds familiar, right? This ain’t the first time some stupid weather has screwed things up around here. Remember that storm a few years back? Took out half of that… that… little Italian bakery down the street… a real shame.

Then a plane crash, a few minor injuries. These things happen, I guess. You’d think these guys were more careful at the height of that. But in the end, they're just people. A lot of people.

Heavy rains stopped the search for flood victims, 120 people dead, 161 missing. Holy shit. That’s a lotta bodies, huh? That hits close to home, makes you think. All that chaos and…and nobody cares. Maybe that’s why I like things the way they are… controlled.

A giant fire in Utah. Reminds me of that time, I swear to God… nah, forget it. Another story for another time.

The President and the First Lady surveyed the damage from the flood. Probably looking for good photo ops. Politicians. Always looking for an angle, even in disaster. Like a goddamn pack of wolves, I’m tellin' ya.

Oh, and a kid got rescued from a crane game in Ohio. The little punk probably deserved it. These kids today… They’re spoiled, they don’t know the value of a dollar. The good old days… when I was a kid…

And the final story – some protest outside a farm. Bunch of whiny protesters… I swear, people need something to complain about. What are these people doing with their lives?

And finally, they’re still looking for more than 150 missing people in Guadalupe River. So, there’s that. Remember, it's a big, messy world, Capisce? Always gotta keep your eyes open. Always. You never know what kind of shit’s gonna hit the fan. And sometimes, it’s a whole lotta fuckin' hot dogs.
