So, listen to this cazzo… Ecuador, right? Heard about this nightclub shooting. Eight dead, three more lookin' at a lifetime of "ow, my leg" - real classy joint, huh? Seven guys already stiff as a board when the cops rolled in. Another one kicked the bucket at the hospital. Sounds like a real Sunday brunch.
"Motive unclear," they say. Unclear? These guys are cops, not rocket scientists. It's a nightclub in a town that's basically a warzone. You think it's a fuckin' PTA meeting gone wrong? Probably some low-level shit, maybe a turf war, maybe some unpaid debts... you know how it goes. Coulda been a bad batch of empanadas, for all I know – who am I kidding?
This Santa Lucia place, small town, coastal province of Guayas… one of four under a state of emergency. A state of emergency! Sounds like a real vacation spot. I'd rather have a root canal. And the best part? The club owner gets whacked. Turns out he was the mayor's brother. The mayor, see? Ubaldo Urquizo. Can you imagine the sympathy cards that guy's gettin’? Probably a few with "fuckin' A" scribbled on 'em. The Facebook post from the local government, "lifting our prayers," hah! Prayers don’t stop a lead slug, capisce?
This ain’t the first rodeo, either. Nine dead at a pool hall, seventeen at a bar… All within weeks. It's like these guys are having a competition, see? A body count contest. Fuckin' pathetic.
This Noboa guy, the president – declared "war on gang crime" in January '24. War? That’s a lotta noise. A big fuckin' show for the cameras. Meanwhile, 4,051 homicides between January and May '25. Four THOUSAND. And this ain't some small town, this is Ecuador. They got 70% of the world's cocaine goin' through their ports. That's a whole lot of money changing hands, a whole lot of hungry wolves.
You know, I remember one time… Back in the day, we had a little… misunderstanding at the Satin Dolls. Didn't end up quite as messy, thank God. But you gotta respect the scale of this operation down there. They're playing a different game entirely. Bigger stakes, bigger players, and a lot more lead. This ain’t some wiseguy beef in North Jersey. This is straight-up chaos. And believe me, chaos is a bitch. You can’t control it, just gotta… adapt. You gotta learn to… fuhgeddaboudit. Sometimes. Sometimes you gotta make a few calls. But mostly, you just gotta watch the news, shake your head, and wonder what kind of cazzo world this is.
