❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ happy friday everyone, it’s me!! before yesterday’s post, it has been a WHILE. life update: so lately, I have been infected with the tarot card obsession that used to haunt me in elementary school but I am honestly okay with it ;) and i also pulled the tower a couple of days ago from my cards!… pray for me!

anyway, we have a new writer on our team whose name is valerie! please give her a warm welcome by reading her first piece that dissects a Cancers wardrobe and style 🥳

╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ As the summer tide turns and the zodiac wheel shifts, a lunar supernova appears in a silhouette of flowing fabrics and enchanting blue hues. Cancers are often described as cold, distant beings, but behind that protective, “crab-like shell”, they are compassionate, emotionally intuitive, and even mystical. To respect their nature, the stylist of a Cancer must seek balance between solid structures and water-like fluidity to really build an authentic wardrobe. The outfit would feature some base or structural shield to represent the armor they carry internally, while simultaneously embracing the grace and oceanic movement of their sign. Embodying their unique ability to transform emotions that let them flow freely.

As a result, they would look best in romantic silhouettes; think of fabrics like delicate lace, satins, and chiffons that replicate the movement of ocean waves across the body. Incorporating layering into their day-to-day life could add character and depth as an artistic expression, mixing skirts, patterns, and textures that align with their chic mermaid style. Structured or more fitted pieces like denim could find balance with colorful tights or silk scarves. Shimmering iridescent fabrics, open silk blouses and tunics are best paired with vintage necklaces and silver accessories that accentuate the chest. Deep midnight blues, seafoam greens and sparkly silvers take center stage as the dominant colors for this sign; different shades of blue are associated with emotional depth and trustworthiness. This aligns perfectly with their nature of being protective and valuing loyalty above all.

Cancers are ruled by the moon, which is often associated with comfort, self-love, and deep compassion or care for others. Classic ballet flats and loafers serve as the perfect embodiment of luxurious comfort. They are also as versatile as the Cancers themselves, providing a solid but dreamy shoe to pair with their outfits. Since Cancer rules the stomach, midriff-baring two-piece sets highlight the torso beautifully, especially when silk or soft fabrics are incorporated in the look. Monochromatic pieces are used to bring enough structure, without making them look entirely cold or rigid. They also have an inclination to become overly attached and seek comfort, which could mold them into becoming hyperfocused on their self-image. A balanced Cancer would be very expressive in their fashion and the way they present themselves, because it signals that they are acting on authenticity, and that kind of energy should always be accompanied by rhinestones and soft greys.
