Hilton Timeshare Packages: 100K Points + Hotel from $199
Hilton Grand Vacations is offering vacation packages with 100,000 Hilton Honors points plus 2-3 nights of lodging starting at $199, though you'll need to sit through a 2-hour timeshare presentation. Destinations include Myrtle Beach and Vegas at $199, Orlando at $229, NYC at $249, and Daytona Beach or Hilton Head at $299. The math works if you can hold firm through the sales pitch and actually want to visit one of these locations—you're essentially buying 100,000 Hilton points at 0.2 to 0.3 cents each while getting a cheap hotel stay. You have until May 29th to book and must travel within 12 months, and you can't participate if you've done a Hilton timeshare presentation in the past year.

Philippine Airlines Business Class Opens Up: 110K Avios West Coast
Philippine Airlines business class award space to the Philippines just opened up wide through Qatar Airways Privilege Club, with up to 6 seats per flight available—basically unheard of for nonstop Asia routes. You're looking at 110,000 Avios from the West Coast or 154,500 from Chicago and New York for lie-flat seats that normally have zero availability. You'll need Qatar Avios specifically, though you can transfer from British Airways, Iberia, or other partners if needed. Manila works as a great Southeast Asia gateway, so this isn't just a Philippines play. When business class to Asia opens up for groups this size, it doesn't last, so act on this if you've got Asia travel plans and the Avios to make it happen.

Hyatt Award Glitch Overcharging Members Thousands of Points
Hyatt's system is overcharging some members on award bookings with a pricing glitch where the first night books at the displayed rate but subsequent nights jump to higher prices that don't match either the old or new award charts. One example shows a booking that should have been 30,000 points per night charged at 29,000 for night one, then 35,000 for the rest—neither price makes sense under any chart. Multiple people are seeing the same pattern of genuine overcharges costing tens of thousands of extra points, so check any recent Hyatt award bookings immediately and call to fix the math if you spot discrepancies.

Amex Peacock Offer: $20 Back on $109.99 Annual Subscription
Amex rolled out a new offer for Peacock streaming that gets you $20 back after spending $109.99 or more on an annual subscription, valid through August 31st. If you've got an Amex Platinum, you can use this offer on that card and also tap into the monthly $20 digital entertainment credit to cover ongoing costs. The spending threshold is basically the cost of Peacock's annual plan, so you're not hunting for creative ways to hit a minimum. Check your offers if you're in the market for Peacock and have the right cards to stack benefits.

🔥 STEAL OF THE DAY
Steal of the Day: New York City residents can snag FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for just $50 through a local promotion that also includes free transportation to matches, which is significantly below typical World Cup ticket prices. If you're in NYC and want to catch what's arguably the world's biggest sporting event without paying premium prices, this is worth investigating. Time is limited to secure these discounted seats, so check the promotion details and apply if you qualify.

💳 CARD OF THE DAY
Card of the Day: The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card stands out with its elevated welcome offer of up to 175,000 Hilton Honors points, automatic Diamond status (the hotel chain's highest elite tier), a $250 annual airline fee credit, and $250 resort credit that make the steep annual fee manageable for frequent travelers. With Hilton's increased welcome bonuses across their American Express portfolio, the Aspire represents the ceiling of their offerings. The Diamond status alone typically requires 30 nights or 60,000 base points to earn organically, so the card's instant elite benefits are valuable for anyone planning multiple hotel stays, and the current elevated offer makes the card's premium positioning more justifiable than usual.
