Amex Business Gold Hits 200K Points—If You Qualify and Spend $15K
American Express is running a variable welcome offer on the Business Gold Card that goes as high as 200,000 Membership Rewards points after $15,000 spend in the first 3 months, though not everyone will get that number since the offer is personalized. The top-end offer is strong if you can hit the spend and have concrete uses for the points lined up, but if you've had this card before, Amex's once-in-a-lifetime rule means you won't get a bonus at all. Check what you're eligible for before getting excited.

Alaska Mileage Plan Dumps Rare Starlux Business Space to U.S. Routes
Alaska Mileage Plan just released a rare dump of Starlux business class award space on routes to the U.S., with multiple dates and seats open across 2027 on flights to Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle at 50,000 to 75,000 Alaska points one-way depending on distance. Availability has been nearly nonexistent since the partnership launched in 2023, so this is the exception, not the norm. If Taiwan is on your list and you've got the points, book now before it evaporates again.

Wyndham-Caesars Deal Stacks 25% Off, 2x Points Through January 2027
Wyndham Rewards is offering up to 25% off stays at Caesars Rewards properties through January 1, 2027, plus 2x points and 5,000 bonus points on stays of 3 nights or more if you book by September 11, 2026. There's a 1-night deposit and 48-hour cancellation policy, and Wyndham is doubling the annual transfer cap to Caesars Rewards from 30,000 to 60,000 points through September 11. Worth running the numbers: up to 25% off doesn't mean best available rate, and paying with points might still beat the discount on pricier nights.

🔥 STEAL OF THE DAY
Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is bookable from 25,000 World of Hyatt points per night, while cash rates at this property routinely run $750 or more, so you're looking at outsized value if you have points to burn. The Maldives means long flights, inter-island transfers, and meals that will cost you regardless of how you book the room. If you have been sitting on Hyatt points and want a legitimately aspirational redemption, search availability now.

💳 CARD OF THE DAY
Chase Amazon Prime Visa. Some cardholders just got a targeted offer via email for $15 back when you spend $75 on insurance, utilities, fitness clubs, local transit, or phone and cable between July 15th and October 15th, which is a 20% return on bills you're already paying. Check your email and activate if you got it: this one actually pays for autopay.
