Natural Project Planning: Part 4 - Fill in the blank
After we've brainstormed several ways to get our desired result, we must begin sorting through these ideas.
Inevitably, you've come up with big ideas that contain gaps between your perfect result and your current state.
Your brain will naturally begin to organize with questions. For example:
Does anything to happen before this?
What happens after this?
Does this accomplish the vision?
As you come up with questions and identify the gaps, you'll start to notice a structure emerging. You'll note that X must happen before Y. You'll remember that outcome A is very important to the "Why" and will write down key ways to verify that outcome.
This process will begin to eliminate confusion when you ask yourself, "How do I get to my intended goal?"
If there is still confusion, there are still gaps to be organized.
Once you're done and understand the general shape of your project, the last piece of the puzzle when Natural Planning is: identifying next actions.
