WHO are You and WHY Should I Care?
Simplyfing the Complexity of Marketing
Good morning!
It seems like this new format is being positively welcomed, so let's see how we move forward from here. :) The only thing that is constant is Change.
I just got back from a weekend in Luxembourg where I attended a beautiful wedding with some awesome people and friends, as well as getting the chance to spend a few hours wandering around the city and take some street photography. I love just walking around by myself, challenging myself to see things from a different perspective and not go for the obvious choice.
Just tilting the head and look up and see the beauty of buildings, architecture and trees in the city is something I truly enjoy. How about yourself? How do you take in impressions when you arrive at a new destination?
In this week's #FiveMinuteFriday session, I ask the question; Who are you and Why should I care? It is a strong emotional driver to feel a connection with a brand that has a progressive identity than buying from a generic company. This is the topic I simplify – the complexity of brand purpose. The WHY people should care about your brand! The first and most important way is through company culture. If your employees do not believe in and live the purpose every day, no amount of fancy marketing taglines or slogans can ever help. Remember: “Culture is the first product of any business.” See the whole session and let me know your thoughts!
