What is Bonfire Marketing? 🔥
// Compelling stories // Simplifying the Complexity of Marketing
Hello, friend!
So we are already in the second week of July! It is crazy how quickly time passes when you're having fun! Though I must admit last week was a bit of a challenge for me. I found myself hitting a wall when I was trying to map out an idea I've been thinking about for a while, but for some reason, I couldn't figure out the structure so it made sense. The solution? I went back to basics, with a pen and paper where I structured up the customer journey, started with the end result, and then reverse engineered the process and violá - there it was. I'll share with you soon what I have been working on... cliffhanger!Â
This is the time when things slow down, In my timezone, it is Summer summer summertime. Time to sit back and unwind. (which song?) But - I'll keep on sending you this email because consistency is key - and I want this to be our time, where you and I get to know each other a little better. I want this to become a conversation between friends.
So I have a few questions;Â
– Which book will you read this month?
– What is your favorite word?
– Whom would you like to meet in real life, and why?
Hit reply and send me your thoughts, and I'll share mine with you.Â
Last weeks #5minFriday was also a bit of a struggle. I mean - I knew what I wanted to talk about in general, but to structure such a vast topic is challenging, but hey, that's what drives me as well, so I do hope you'll enjoy this one. It took a bit of work, but the content is good! Here is the gist of it;Â
Tribe Leadership is not just about offering great customer service, it means offering a great experience all the way through the Find-Like-love stage of the customer journey. It’s a strategy that’s based on putting your customer first, and at the core of your business. I do hope you'll enjoy Five Minute Friday, where I simplify the complexity of tribe leadership marketing. Any input on how I can make the video better? Is it okay that I go straight to the point, or should I mix it up a bit with "b-roll" to make it more interesting to watch?
Anyways, a lot of questions from me, but I am curious by nature; hehe.Â
So here are my links of the week.

Bonfire marketing
Have you ever tried to light a bonfire? Many would agree that there is an art to it. You need to have the right amount of wood and kindling, and to keep it lit once it’s going. A well lit bonfire can keep your tribe warm for many hours.
The same applies to your marketing. More specifically, to the stories you communicate with your audience.
Your Brand Needs to Tell Good Stories

The 12 Best Outdoor Ad Campaigns of the YearÂ
In advertising’s golden age, “outdoor” was a category essentially synonymous with billboards.
