How To Pimp Your Brand? 🔥
// Compelling stories // Simplifying the Complexity of Marketing
Hi and good morning!
This week I am starting my vacation, so I will take things a bit slower, turn things down a notch or two. However, I am bringing all my gear with me, and I'll try to challenge myself to create a snippet of content from each day on this vacation of mine.Â
This week will be travel-week, where I'll be passing through 5 countries in 5 days, visiting friends and family along the way. One thing the geek in me is very excited about is the visit to the Leica HQ in Wetzler, Germany. Expect some photos of a very enthusiastic guy someday soon! hehe
Other than that its going to be time to enjoy the nice weather, soak a bit of sun, but most of all take time to reflect, rethink and retune the next half of this year. I have brought some books to read, which I look forward to as well.Â
So the book I am finishing at the moment is "the ONE thing by Gary Keller, and then I will read the biography of Elon Musk, which I have been recommended.
Any other recommendations for me to read? Let me know.Â
I do hope you have enjoyed my first 25 episodes of Five Minute Friday. I just noticed that IÂ have passed ONE MILLION unique views on my videos, which is insane, and a great fuel to keep on going.Â
I will change things up a bit for the next three episodes, the first one being about my list of the top marketers.Â
If you have any feedback to me on how I can make my Five Minute Friday videos better this fall, let me know. I'd love to get some constructive ideas and thoughts.Â
But have a wonderful week, enjoy the summer weather, and here are my links of the week.

Mind the (brand) gap
Take a walk down any high street and it’s packed full of brands. We simply don’t shop without them anymore. People don’t make buying decisions based on product features. They buy products based on brands that they can trust.
Why Finding the Right Tribe Will Help Your Business Thrive
As a marketer, you need to know how to find your tribe. Then, when you’ve found your tribe, you need to know how to trigger the desired response in them. Marketers need to understand what drives their tribe members and also what stops them.Â

People Don’t Buy Products, They Buy Better Versions of ThemselvesÂ

Trust has always been an important part of brand-consumer relationships; without trust, customers may not feel confident in their purchases, or may opt for a more trustworthy competitor brand, leaving that perceived untrustworthy company high and dry.
