We’re pleased to announce the next Clearing is scheduled for September 6 from 5-6pm in the UCC sanctuary.

As some of you may know, Greg has been creating a truly special spatial sound installation that works with the magnificent pipe organ in the UCC Sanctuary as part of his work as UCC’s music director. Check out this video to get the skinny:

The system is incredibly beautiful and inspiring, and we couldn’t stand the thought of not using it, so we’ve decided to move The Clearing from the intimate chapel to the big space. Of course, the space and speaker array present all kinds of glorious sonic opportunities, so next time around, be prepared to wander the sanctuary in search of your favorite spots to listen.

If you can’t wait until September 6, we’ll be performing some Clearing-style music under our duo moniker Doctor Body on a live stream for an online independent music festival on Thursday, August 27 at 3pm EDT. There’s a massive full-day lineup and the vibes with this crowd are always good, so check out the other excellent musicians as well. 🔗 Learn about and attend the festival here
