An abundance of food

We didn’t feel like turkey so I made fried chicken. The recipe works well to make the night before and rewarm before serving.

A platter of fried chicken

One @#$%ing thing

The boy was home with us. We were surrounded by three grandparents, my brother and his wife, and an abundance of food and remarkable pie.

Today I dwelt in gratitude.

Not everyone has access to an abundance of food. I send part of my paycheck each month to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. You likely have a food bank helping people in your local community stay fed. Give them cash, not canned goods.
