A lot of things
While I don’t have an ADHD diagnosis, my brain shares many traits with those who do. The design of this project is built to allow me the freedom not to commit to (or feel too stuck in) any single area of focus.
But I also spent stretches of my Sunday sleeping, in a state easily recognizable as early onset burnout. It had been a jam-packed week filled with social interactions and emotional avoidance, and (with the addition of this new daily practice) an exercise in multi-wick candle management.
This week should be theoretically easier to maintain balance, without a multi-day team onsite. If I can manage not to do a lot of things.
One thing
Tonight I began a monthly contribution to The Guardian, because they are based outside of the US, because of their funding model, and because last week they chose a commitment to truth and decided to stop posting content to X.
They leave behind 80 accounts with a combined 27 million followers. Any news outlet can.
(NPR and PBS left the platform last year.)
