Albums I Liked : 2023 Edition

I’m not going to go deep on any of these albums, because that would take so much time. I will say that I think MSPAINT created one of the most exciting releases of the year. I love that hardcore is becoming so much more than what it once was. I love how many different ideas and genres the MSPAINT record combined. I have listened to it countless times, and I still think it’s wicked smart and an incredibly fun listen.

This was such a great year for music, and tbqh, I don’t even think I personally scratched the surface of what’s out there! Definitely let me know what you were into via the comments. Also, thanks for joining me on this newsletter/substack journey. Excited to continue yelling at you in the future.

For previous followers of The Grey Estates, you may recall my intense adoration for the band Oh, Rose. They’ve been pretty quiet for the last few years, but on Friday, December 1, they released a brand new single. It’s dancey, sweet, and super fun!

OK! Here are some more albums I enjoyed. I’m using Spotify links because I’m afraid Bandcamp could go down at any moment, LOL. But I did link to Bandcamp on all post things! I probably forgot to include something, but, that is life!
