Thanks for opening – this is a new thing.

I'm writing from home in Los Angeles. Current conditions: 60 degrees, partly cloudy. AQI of 64, "moderate." A few birds are singing outside, and Birdy dreams fitfully at my feet. It rained last weekend, hopefully flushing some dust and ash from streets and surfaces, so I've been breathing (a little) easier, and riding my bike to work again. I hope you’re still finding some joy and some stillness in the midst of collapse.
