Very versatile recipe, can change a lot of the ingredients for similar ones (e.g. honey for the agave), stir in dried fruit, etc. etc.

Chili Chocolate Granola Mix

Very versatile recipe, can change a lot of the ingredients for similar ones (e.g. honey for the agave), stir in dried fruit, etc. etc.

Ingredients:
2 cups oats
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup unsalted peanuts
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp ancho chili powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cayenne
¼ cup agave nectar
¼ cup vegetable oil
½ cup spicy chocolate chunks (see recipe below for chocolate bar)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300
In a large mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients minus chocolate chunks (oats through cayenne)
In a small bowl, mix agave nectar and vegetable oil
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix
Spread onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet
Bake for 15 minutes, stir, then bake for 10 more minutes
Let cool 10 minutes, stir in chocolate chunks, then let cool completely before breaking into clumps

Chili Chocolate Bar

Ingredients:
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1 tbsp ancho chili powder
½ tbsp smoked paprika
½ tbsp cocoa powder
Pinch of cayenne
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Put all ingredients in a double boiler, stir until melted completely and all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Spread on parchment paper and let cool until hard.
